Our RESTORE technology is a simple to use surgical adjunct that when mixed with a fraction of blood from the patient is designed to assist in the repair of hard to heal injuries. It is used in surgical procedures that are necessary for repair of ligaments, tendons and other tissues and is provided as a sterile dry powder.
The products are based around a proprietary platform consisting of the biopolymer chitosan. The material itself is known to have beneficial effects on wound healing such as blood clotting and increasing the number of repair cells in wounds.
The products have been designed to fit seamlessly into current surgical techniques with a minimum of increase in the surgical time (under 5 minutes) and no additional equipment needed.
